Mick comes
from a long line of American and Field Champion Golden Retrievers, with OFA clearance on both sides. Son of Thistle Rock's
Red Rooster and Thistlerock Brooke, Mick is an amazing dog and a proven sire.
He is a born people pleaser, intuitively smart. With a gentle, anxious-to-please nature, Mick bears his Midwestern Retriever
roots with grace. A truly beautiful stud, Mick's 'please pet me' attitude makes him the perfect complement to
our line. His golden/russet color, ivory undercoat and curly ruff should blend well with Libby's dread lock
curls and Roxie and Maddie's red tones. At present, Mick is working on agility training. He's a big fan of long walks
and handles himself with grace around other dogs.
Mick is 24" at the shoulder and comes
from Thistlerock certified lines. He's got a great smile and wonderful demeanor with an easy, flawless
gait.

Mick at three months, arriving home after trip from MN.
Our trip to Minnesota for Mick was an adventure for Mandy and me. Beth had moved
to Minnesota earlier that year, so we set off in Mandy's Vibe, loaded with gear for Beth, and a small dog crate.
The dog crate never got used.
Mick made the long trek back to upstate New York with never a whimper or 'accident'. We stopped for
food for him and Starbucks for us. Well. Occasionally Mandy made me feed her, too, but Mick was more important!
